My first time having authentic Cuban and let's just say it's the best food I've ever had in my life
The server didn't speak any english, but you know that just means the food will be that much better! And it was, amazing food. Hole in the wall vibe, I figure they get lots of take out orders, but still nice to dine in at. I also got one of each dessert to go, just because the food was that good.
I lived in Miami most of my life and have always missed my food. Plenty of little places have tried, but they just don't match up. For the first time in 12 years of searching Jacksonville, I can finally say I found a place that has comparable food to La Carreta and Sergio's with a Hialeah feel. I just found my favorite eatery in Jax. GRACIAS!!!! This is a hole in the wall worth visiting, and frequently. We had higado a la Italiana (the best I've had at a restaurant), Masitas de Puerco Fritas con moros, and ropa vieja. The yuca and platanitos were awesome, as were the frijoles negros. Este lugar no tiene desperdicio.
Food is a little on the pricey side for me but very good and fresh and large portions so you definitely get your money's worth.at least.Service was nice also.
I found this place driving around... I love love the Food and service! You have to try the Cafecito Cuban Next time I’m bringing my Family
This place is awesome. I have tried a few things that made me feel at home. The music and atmosphere was the best and the music online YouTube was super. I will keep coming back to this place when I can. They also have a pool table to enjoy your night while also having a few beers. Will recommend this place to anyone wanting to try real Cuban food with great flavor.
One of the best Cuban restaurants I have been to in a while. The Croquettes, Cuban Sandwich, and the #1, and #4 combo’s were amazing!
Finally !! Originally from Miami and have looked far and near and this place is it . When you walk in it has that smell of home . Food was great !! Excellent service . And to top it off my Cuban coffee was on point !!!
